Our Programs

ODBF’s 12-week Afterschool Coaching Program is a proven methodology for positive, transformational life change for foster teens.  We offer hope, ongoing advocacy and a path toward a successful life to foster youth—including the large population who live in group homes (small orphanages).  Our coaching program—piloted by DHS—helps these youth develop a comprehensive life plan to achieve their high school diploma or GED, further their postsecondary education and gain relevant employment.  Upon graduation youth earn a laptop to help them further their education, bridging the digital divide at-risk youth currently experience, and are connected with advocates who help them effectively overcome barriers.  Read More
